MIXING 17 in Porto 2021

The 17th European Conference on Mixing will be held in 2021 in Porto, Portugal.

This successful conference series, which is organised by the European Federation of Chemical Engineering – Working Party on Mixing, has been running since 1974 and attracts academics and industrialists from all over the world to discuss progress on mixing technology, research and applications in the process industries.

The bid to organize its 2021 edition, MIXING 17, was proposed by Professor José Carlos Lopes, the Portuguese delegate to the Working Party on Mixing of EFCE.

The decision was known during the gala dinner MIXING 16, that took place between 9-12 September 2018 in Toulouse, France. At this conference, the Associate Laboratory LSRE-LCM was represented by several researchers from the Mixing Team, led by Professor José Carlos Lopes, Professor Madalena Dias and Doctor Ricardo Santos.
