Silvia Monteiro graduated in Chemistry – branch of Food Chemistry at the University of Aveiro in 1995. She obtained her Master degree in 1998 in Chemistry of Natural Products, Ph.D degree in 2004 in Chemistry, in the area of Organic Synthesis and Characterization of Methyl Dehydroabietate derivatives at the University of Aveiro, and a graduation in 2012 in the area of Occupational Safety and Health. She has been teaching at IPLeiria since 2004. She collaborated as Researcher in the CICECO - Centre for Research in Ceramics and Composite Materials, from 2008 to 2012, and belongs to the LSRE-LCM team since 2011.
