Rolando Dias graduated in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) in 1990 and joined in 1993 to the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB) as Teaching Assistant in the Mathematics Department of the School of Technology and Management (ESTiG). In 1990 he started his post-graduate studies in the Department of Chemical Engineering from FEUP, where in 1996 he obtained his degree of Ph.D. in the area of Mathematical Modelling of Non-Linear Polymerization. Since 1997 he develops his teaching activity in the Department of Chemical and Biological Technology of ESTiG (Adjunct-Professor from 1997 to 2007 and then Coordinator-Professor). He develops is research activities as member of LSRE since 1996.
