Patrícia Ramalho won the 2nd Best Poster award at EUGLOH Annual Student Research Conference

October, 12 2020

The first EUGLOH Annual Student Research Conference - Global Health Challenges: Diseases of Modern Life was organized by the University of Szeged (Hungary) with the participation of member universities in collaboration with the European University Alliance for Global Health (EUGLOH) from 28 to 30 September 2020. This pioneering event offered an opportunity to students from partner universities - Ludwig-Maximilians University (Munich, Germany), Lund University (Sweden), University of Porto (Portugal), University Paris-Saclay (Paris, France) and University of Szeged (Hungary) - contribute to a comprehensive view of research activities.

Patrícia Ramalho (PhD student) was awarded the 2nd Best Poster Award in the Global Health Session: miscellaneous challenges with her work: "Carbon-coated metallic magnetic nanoparticles for the removal of bromate in water"This work is the result of the project named NanoCatRed - Novel metallic NANOparticles on NANOstructured supports for oxyanion CATalytic REDuction in water.

100 students selected from five universities at all levels (bachelor's and doctorate), and from all faculties participated in the Annual Online Student Research Conference, dissipating their scientific work. Participants did their work in the form of an oral presentation online or through an electronic poster session.

LA LSRE-LCM congratulates Patrícia for this award!
