Isabella Tomasi was awarded the Best Paper Award at the recent Euro-Mediterranean Conference for Environmental Integration. Her presentation, entitled “Life Cycle Assessment of Tannin Extraction from Chestnut Shells for Coagulant Production: Solid-liquid vs. Microwave-assisted Extraction,” highlighted the cutting-edge methods in sustainable material processing.
The conference, which took place from May 15th to 18th, 2024, is renowned for bringing together the brightest minds in environmental science to discuss pressing issues and breakthroughs.
