Project CONSERVAL: Valorization of By-Products and Wastewater from the Canning Industry in POCTEP Area

CONSERVAL is a collaborative project between Spain and Portugal funded under the INTERREG V-A Spain-Portugal 2014-2020 Program (POCTEP). This project intends to create value from by-products and wastewater from the canning sector in Galicia and Northern Portugal, thus contributing to a circular economy and an innovative model that integrates all actors in the value chain.

The event is aimed to all canning industries of Euroregion of Galicia and Northern Portugal, that are interested in innovative technologies for the transformation of waste streams into products with high added value and high business potential, which reduce the environmental impact and improve competitiveness.

CONSERVAL é um projecto de colaboração entre Espanha e Portugal financiado no âmbito do Programa INTERREG V-A Espanha-Portugal 2014-2020 (POCTEP), que pretende valorizar os subprodutos e águas residuais do sector das conservas na Galiza e Norte de Portugal, contribuindo assim para uma economia circular e um modelo inovador que integra todos os agentes da cadeia de valor.

O evento é dirigido a todas as empresas conserveiras da Eurorregião da Galiza e do Norte de Portugal interessadas em tecnologias inovadoras para a transformação das correntes de resíduos em produtos de alto valor acrescentado e com elevado potencial de negócio, que reduzam o impacto ambiental e melhorem a competitividade.
