Rafael Dias graduated in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto (FEUP) in July 2019. In February 2020, he started his Ph.D. in Chemical and Biological Engineering at FEUP with the thesis titled “Gas-phase simulated moving bed for methane upgrade”, supervised by Prof. Ana Mafalda Ribeiro and co-supervised by Prof. Alexandre Ferreira and Prof. Alírio Rodrigues, concluding in July 2025. Currently, he is a post-doctoral researcher of the “ECO-MOBES - Mobilidade Inteligente & Tecnologias para a Eficiência de Recursos” project at LSRE-LCM, for the development of new separation processes for methane upgrade.
