Gabriela Queirós earned his master’s degree in Chemistry in 2018 and completed a PhD degree in Sustainable Chemistry in December 2025 at FCUP. Her research work focuses on the preparation and characterization of multifunctional (nano)materials and solid-gel polymer electrolytes, the development of functional textiles for electrochemical energy storage and the production of new wearable self-powered electrochromic supercapacitor devices.

She joined the CATALYSE-CO2 team as a project researcher, since September 2025, focusing on preparation, characterization and performance evaluation of catalysts for CO2Valorization into Cyclic Carbonates by thermocatalytic and electrocatalytic routes.
