Ana Pereira graduated in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) in July 2019. She integrated the LSRE-LCM research team in September 2019, working on the development of structured materials, 3D printing, and adsorption processes for gas separation. In February 2020, she started her PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering at FEUP with the thesis entitled “Additive Manufacturing of Structured Adsorbents for Adsorption-based Processes”, under the supervision of Doctor Maria João Regufe and co-supervision of Professor Ana Mafalda Ribeiro, Professor Alexandre Ferreira, and Emeritus Professor Alírio Rodrigues, which was concluded in June 2026. Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher on the project AQUA-2-METHAN3X- Integrated Process using Water Harvesting Technologies for Hydrogen Production and Biogenic CO2 Valorization into Methane.
