Nelson Oliveira graduated in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Aveiro in 2000. In 2006 he obtained doctorate in Chemical Engineering at the University of Aveiro with mobility by Colorado School of Mines at USA and University of Pau and Pays de l’Adour at France, with the thesis Gas Solubility in Polymeric Membranes. He was Researcher Assistant at Bayer Technology Services, Leverkusen, Germany in 1999/2000, at the CICECO, University of Aveiro in 2000/2001 and ADAI, University of Coimbra in 2007/2008. In 2008 he joined the Environmental Engineering Department of Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, where is now Associate Professor and coordinator of the master in Energy and Environmental Engineering. He is member of the LSRE-LCM since 2011.
