Maria João Regufe completed your MSc in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) in July 2014. During 9 months, she worked as a researcher in the field of Multifunctional Reactors and Process Intensification. She got her Ph.D. degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from FEUP with the thesis entitled "CO2 capture from flue gases by Electric Swing Adsorption" in July 2019, under the supervision of Professor Ana Mafalda Ribeiro and co-supervision of Doctor Alexandre Ferreira and Emeritus Professor Alírio Rodrigues. Since December 2019, she has been working as a postdoctoral researcher at the LSRE-LCM in a European Project intituled Innovative Membrane Extraction of Lithium for Spent (LIMEX).
