Rute Seabra graduated in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) in July 2017. She integrated the LSRE-LCM research team in September 2017, working with carbon dioxide capture from industrial streams. In February 2019, she started her PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering FEUP with the thesis entitled “Separation of light hydrocarbons by the simulated moving bed”, under the supervision of Professor Alexandre Ferreira and co-supervision of Professor Ana Mafalda Ribeiro and Emeritus Professor Alírio Rodrigues, which was concluded in October 2023. Currently, she is a post-doctoral researcher of the “Adsorption Equilibrium of carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and water in porous solids” project at LSRE-LCM.
