The II Science Fair of Bragança

May 31 – June 2, 2017

The II Science Fair of Bragança (May 31 – June 2, 2017) is organized by the “Centro Ciência Viva de Bragança” and aims at stimulating the interest in science in the local community.

This event had the support of the Municipality of Bragança and involved the following participants: Scholar groups of Abade de Baçal, Emídio Garcia, Miguel Torga and Mogadouro, the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB), the Zoela Association, the Bragança Professional Training Centre (IEFP) and the Universal Professional Practical School (EPPU).

LSRE-LCM/IPB has participated in the last day. Our thanks to João Pinto, Helder Rafael, Rami Arafah and Adriano Henrique.

I Meeting of the Carbon Group :: I Reunião do Grupo do Carbono

June 12-13, 2017

The Catalysis and Carbon Materials team from LSRE-LCM is organizing the I Meeting of the Carbon Group, which will be held in Porto at Biblioteca Municipal Almeida Garret (12-13 June 2017), and would like to invite all interested researchers to participate. With this first meeting, we want to bring together all those working with different types and allotropies of this fascinating element. To this end, we welcome researchers from areas such as chemistry, physics and materials to stimulate the development of collaborations among multidisciplinary research groups, calling for the active participation of students and young researchers working in this field.

Abstracts can be submitted until April 30, 2017.

See you soon in Porto,
The Organizing Committee of the I Meeting of the Carbon Group
