Dânia Constantino graduated in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) in 2009. Meanwhile, she integrated the LSRE-LCM team as a research fellow starting to work on a research project for the Continuous Process for Synthesis of Nanocrystalline Hydroxyapatite Doped with Catalytic Properties for Biodiesel Production. Since then, she has been participating in different projects in Laboratory of Separation and Reaction Engineering (LSRE), among others, in the adsorption based reactive-separation processes.
In 2016, she started the Doctoral Program in Chemical and Biological Engineering in Department of Chemical Engineering at FEUP. Her degree of Ph.D. was obtained in 2019, with the thesis entitled "Process Intensification for Butyl Acrylate Synthesis based on Sorption-Enhanced Reaction and Pervaporation based Hybrid Processes".
In November 2019, she will start her Post-Doc Grant at LSRE-LCM in the scientific domain of the Multifunctional Reactors based on Pervaporation Process for the Synthesis of Different Esters, under the supervision of Professor Alírio Rodrigues and Dr. Rui Faria.
