LSRE-LCM Researchers participation in IUPAC Global Women’s Breakfast

February 12, 2019

LSRE-LCM, LEPABE and CEFT researchers accepted IUPAC's invitation to participate in Global Women’s Breakfast: Empowering Women in Chemistry, that happened from 10h00 a.m. on February 12th on FEUP.

This was a IUPAC worldwide event that involved more than 100 institutions from 40 different countries starting in New Zealand and going through Asia, Europe, Africa and finally America.

See this video created by the FEUP event organization as part of the IUPAC Global Women's Breakfast.

This initiative was also part of the celebration of IUPAC's 100th anniversary and the International Year of the Periodic Table that is celebrating 150 years of existence.

Remember last month, at the start of the celebrations of 150 years of the Periodic Table” FEUP, FCUP and ISEP had collaborated to the construction of a Human Periodic Table.
