Adrián Silva wins Vicente de Seabra Medal 2016

On February 20th, the Jury of the 2016 Vicente de Seabra Medal gathered at Portuguese Chemical Society (SPQ) decided by unanimous vote to award Adrián Silva, Associate Researcher at the LSRE-LCM and Investigador Principal at FEUP.

This medal has the purpose to reward the quality, originality and importance of research works in Chemistry developed in Portugal by a researcher not older than 40 years. The Jury considered the quality, impact and quantity of scientific work performed, especially in the last five years.

At LSRE-LCM Adrián Silva expertise is focused on the preparation, characterization and application of nano- and macro-structured materials for separation and reaction engineering.
