Science & Technology Week 2019

November 25-29, 2019

A new edition of the Science & Technology Week 2019 will be held at Department of Chemical Engineering - FEUP from november 25th to 29th.

The R&D units of the Department - LA LSRE-LCM, LEPABE and CEFT, will organize several activities including visits to the laboratories under the motto “Technological advances in emerging areas of Chemical, Environmental and Biotechnology Engineering”.  

This event is addressed to general public and, in particular, to the professors, high school and college students.

Prof. José Luís Figueiredo was honored at XXV Encontro Galego-Português de Química

november 20-22, 2019

The XXV Encontro Galego-Português de Química took place at Santiago de Compostela, Spain from 20th to 22th of November, 2019.

José Luís Figueiredo, Emeritus Professor at University of Porto, was honored by Portuguese Chemical Society (SPQ), Chemical Professional Organisation of Galicia (COLQUIGA) and the Chemical Association of Galicia.

Professor Costa Lima, from Faculty of Pharmacy of University of Porto, and Pelayo Rubido Muñiz and Juan Vieites Bautista de Sousa, both from COLQUIGA, were also honored.
