PhD Student Pedro Velho member of JCED Early Career Board

Pedro Velho, PhD student at LSRE-LCM supervised by Professor Eugénia Macedo, has been nominated to be part of the Early Career Board (ECB) of the Journal of Chemical & Engineering Data (JCED).

The ECB members will provide guidance to JCED’s Editorial Team and help the Journal stay at the forefront of the field and serve the thermophysical properties community.

Francisca Moreira wins Early Career Researcher Award

Francisca Moreira, researcher at LSRE-LCM, won the Early Career Researcher (ERC) prize, awarded at the 5th Iberoamerican Conference on Advanced Oxidation Technologies (CIPOA), held in Cusco, Peru, on November 7-11, 2022.

This prize aims to distinguish ERCs with outstanding scientific research in the fields of CIPOA. CIPOA is designed for fundamentals and application of Advanced Oxidation Technologies in the environmental, energy and climate sectors, towards a sustainable and carbon-neutral circular economy.
