Professor José Luís Figueiredo distinguished with the Medal of Excellence in R+D+I

LSRE-LCM congratulates Professor José Luís Figueiredo for the Medal of Excellence in R+D+I awarded by the Ibero-American Congresses of Chemical Engineering (CIBIQ), in recognition of an extraordinary research career in the field of materials and catalysis.

CIBIQ was created in 2019, with the purpose and spirit of building bridges in Chemical Engineering in the Ibero-American Community. The CIBIQ Awards aim to recognize, encourage and promote excellence in the development of professional activity, in academia and/or in industry, among the Ibero-American collective.

The award will be presented in a ceremony during the Gala Dinner of the XI World Congress of Chemical Engineering (WCCE11), which will take place on June 6th in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

LSRE-LCM congratulates Albertina Rios for her PhD thesis defense on May 5, 2023.

Albertina Rios finished the Doctoral Program in Chemical and Biological Engineering, with the PhD thesis entitled "Protein Separation and Purification by Cyclic Adsorption Processes" supervised by Professor Alexandre Ferreira, Professor Ana Mafalda Ribeiro and Professor Alírio Rodrigues.

The staff and team of LSRE-LCM wish Albertina Rios success in the new professional stage that will now begin!
