Elson Gomes PhD thesis defense

LSRE-LCM congratulates Elson Dinis Gomes for his PhD thesis defense on December 16th, 2019 at FEUP.

Elson Gomes finished the Doctoral Program in Chemical and Biological Engineering, with the PhD thesis entitled "Development of a continuous process for the production of vanillin and syringaldehyde from kraft black liquor" supervised by Emeritus Professor Alírio Rodrigues and co-supervised by Doctor Carina Costa.

The staff and team of LSRE-LCM wish Elson success for the new professional stage that will begin!

Contribution of Prof. Alírio Rodrigues in special Issue cover from Journal of Chemical Engineering Data

Emeritus Professor Alírio E. Rodrigues was invited to contribute to the Journal of Chemical Engineering Data's special issue "Celebrating Our High Impact Authors Special Issue". 

Prof. Alírio Rodrigues' contribution was entitled "Adsorption Equilibrium of Carbon Dioxide, Methane, Nitrogen, Carbon Monoxide, and Hydrogen on UiO-66(Zr)_(COOH)2" and was selected to be in the Special issue Cover.
