Lucília Ribeiro wins the Best Doctoral Thesis in Catalysis - Ramôa Ribeiro Award

June 18, 2018

Lucília Ribeiro has received the Best Doctoral Thesis in Catalysis - Ramôa-Ribeiro Award for her PhD thesis entitled "Catalytic conversion of lignocellulosic biomass by hydrolytic hydrogenation", supervised by Fernando Pereira, co-supervised by José Órfão and developed at Associate Laboratory LSRE-LCM.

This prize was awarded by the Division of Catalysis and Porous Materials (DCMP) of the Portuguese Chemical Society (SPQ) to one of its members newly doctorate.

The winner will present an oral communication at the Ramôa Ribeiro Session, part of the XXVI Iberian-American Catalysis Congress, that will be held in Coimbra on 9th-14th September 2018.

Lucilia is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at LSRE-LCM working on the area of synthesis of fine chemical products with high-value from the catalytic conversion lignocellulosic biomass.

Once again LSRE-LCM congratulates Lucília for the award!
