Mohsen Karimi PhD thesis defense

LSRE-LCM congratulates Mohsen Karimi for his PhD thesis defense on March 2, 2023.

Mohsen finished the Doctoral Program in Chemical and Biological Engineering, with the PhD thesis entitled "Process Development for Carbon Dioxide Capture Using Novel Adsorbents: Applications for Clean Energy and Environmental Protection" supervised by Professor Alírio Rodrigues and Professor José António Silva  (CIMO, IPB).

The staff and team of LSRE-LCM wish Mohsen success for the new professional stage that will now begin!

PhD Student Pedro Velho member of JCED Early Career Board

Pedro Velho, PhD student at LSRE-LCM supervised by Professor Eugénia Macedo, has been nominated to be part of the Early Career Board (ECB) of the Journal of Chemical & Engineering Data (JCED).

The ECB members will provide guidance to JCED’s Editorial Team and help the Journal stay at the forefront of the field and serve the thermophysical properties community.
