PhD Student Pedro Velho member of JCED Early Career Board

Pedro Velho, PhD student at LSRE-LCM supervised by Professor Eugénia Macedo, has been nominated to be part of the Early Career Board (ECB) of the Journal of Chemical & Engineering Data (JCED).

The ECB members will provide guidance to JCED’s Editorial Team and help the Journal stay at the forefront of the field and serve the thermophysical properties community.

PhD Student Isabella Tomasi wins Best Poster Presentation Award

Isabella Tomasi, PhD student at LSRE-LCM under the supervision of Professor Cidália Botelho and Doctor  Sílvia Santos, won Best Poster Presentation Award at  the International Congress on Separation and Purification Technology, held online in December 2022, with the communication entitled "Tannin extraction from vegetable residues of Portuguese industry: towards naturally-derived coagulants/flocculants".
