LSRE-LCM congratulates Cláudia Ameida for her PhD thesis defense on October 2, 2025. Cláudia finished the Doctoral Program in Chemical and Biological Engineering, with the PhD thesis titled Liquid and Supercritical Carbon Dioxide Processes for the Valorisation of Natural Products, supervised by Professor Madalena Dias, Professor Fernando Martins (LEPABE/FEUP), and Doctor Yaidelin Manrique.

The LSRE-LCM research group is proud to announce that several of its researchers have been included in the “World’s Top 2% Scientists list” released by Standford University (USA). Covering a total of 22 areas and 174 sub-fields, this list published by the prestigious publisher Elsevier presents a restricted selection of scientists considered active, whose work has accelerated progress in their areas, also influencing the work productivity of other researchers.
