LSRE-LCM congratulates Asma Mohamad Abdallah Sharkawy for her PhD thesis defense on December 22, 2021.

Asma Sharkawy finished the Doctoral Program in Chemical and Biological Engineering, with the PhD thesis entitled "Novel chitosan-based Pickering emulsions as green encapsulation systems and delivery vehicles of bioactive agents" supervised by Professor Alírio Rodrigues and co-supervised by Professor Filomena Barreiro (CIMO).

Carlos finished the Doctoral Program in Chemical and Biological Engineering, with the PhD thesis entitled Production of C4 Dicarboxylic Acids from Lignin Oxidation supervised by Professor Alírio Rodrigues and Professor Filomena Barreiro (CIMO/IPB).
