Study on Radiation Modeling in the Top 10% Most-Viewed Paper in Chemical Engineering & Technology

The paper, titled “Radiation Models for Computational Fluid Dynamics Simulations of Photocatalytic Reactors”, by Isabel S. O. Barbosa, Ricardo J. Santos, Madalena M. Dias, Joaquim L. Faria, and Cláudia G. Silva has been distinguished by Chemical Engineering & Technology as a Top Viewed Article in 2023.

The work was part of the PhD project of Isabel Barbosa and carried out under the scope of the FCT-funded SuN2Fuel project and highlights important advancements in modeling radiation for improved photocatalytic reactor design—an essential component in optimizing environmental and chemical processes.

Chemical Engineering & Technology enjoys large dissemination in the important German chemical industry, being supported by the DECHEMA, GDCh – German Chemical Society, and VDI – The Association of German Engineers.
