Vinicius Santana PhD thesis defense

LSRE-LCM congratulates Vinicius Santana for his PhD thesis defense on March 25, 2024. Vinicius finished the Doctoral Program in Chemical and Biological Engineering, with the PhD thesis entitled "Cyber-physical oriented chemical process for green and sustainable production" supervised by Professor Idelfonso Nogueira (NTNU, Norway), Professor Ana Mafalda Ribeiro (LSRE-LCM, Portugal), and Professor Christopher Rackauckas (MIT, USA).

The staff and team of LSRE-LCM wish Vinicius success in the new professional stage that will now begin!

FEUP Day Highlights LSRE-LCM Researchers and Professors

On 19th January, the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) celebrated another edition of FEUP Day, an annual event that highlights and values the members of the academic community from the previous year. This event is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate achievements in both the pedagogical and scientific fields.

Among the highlights this year were the researchers and professors from the Laboratory of Separation and Reaction Processes - Laboratory of Catalysis and Materials (LSRE-LCM), who were honoured with awards for pedagogical recognition and scientific recognition.
