LSRE-LCM congratulates Joana de Matos Silva for her PhD thesis defense on June 9, 2022.

Joana finished the Doctoral Program in Chemical and Biological Engineering, with the PhD thesis entitled "Mixing and Controlled Combustion in NETmix" supervised by Doctor Ricardo Santos, Professor Madalena Dias and Professor Alexandra Pinto (CEFT).

This year, two LSRE–LCM researchers were recipients of Fulbright Portugal Awards!

Rui Ribeiro was awarded a Fulbright Research Grant for Scholars and Researchers with PhD, granting him the opportunity to conduct research activities as Visiting Fulbright Scholar at The City College of New York, NY.

Ana Sofia Santos was awarded a Fulbright Research Fellowship (with support from FCT) to carry out part of her PhD studies as a visiting student researcher at The University of Texas at Austin, TX.
